Waterplace Park

Best known as host to the award-winning WaterFire Providence art installation that attracts over a million visitors annually.

The Riverwalk

A loop along the eastern and western banks of the Providence River, featuring several community memorials,  weaving through the footprints of Brown University, Johnson & Wales University, and the Rhode Island School of Design. 

Michael Van Leesten Pedestrian Bridge

Breathtaking 450-feet span of the Providence River that connects the East Side and Jewelry District and offers spectacular views of downtown, built on the remains of the relocated Interstate 195. 

Greater Kennedy Plaza

Including Burnside Park, Brandon’s Beach children’s playground, Biltmore Park, The City Center Rink, and the Kennedy Plaza transit hub. 

195 District Park

Located on either side of the pedestrian bridge, new 7-acre park created by land freed by relocation of Interstate 195.
