Celebrate 50 Years of Impact with The Providence Foundation’s “Legacy in Motion” Scavenger Hunt

Providence, RI — In honor of 50 years of driving change, collaboration, and growth in Downtown Providence, The Providence Foundation is proud to launch the Legacy in Motion Scavenger Hunt — a fun, interactive way to explore the downtown spaces and places the Foundation has helped shape over the past five decades.

Access the Scavenger Hunt through GoProvidence here: https://www.goprovidence.com/legacy-in-motion/

From now through September 30th, participants are invited to discover downtown parks, landmarks, and local businesses where The Providence Foundation has left its mark. Each check-in earns points — and those points add up to exciting prizes at the end of each month. This July, the Grand Prize winner will receive two ticket vouchers to the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) and a $150 gift card to their choice of Sarto, G Rooftop, or G Pub. The runner-up will receive a $150 gift card to be redeemed at any of the same participating restaurants. To make the prizes more competitive, participants can earn 10 bonus points for every selfie taken at a hunt location. Just post it to Instagram or Facebook and tag @provfoundation.

“We wanted to celebrate our 50th year in a way that brings people into the city we love — to walk its streets, learn its stories, and experience firsthand the energy of downtown Providence,” said David Salvatore, Executive Director at The Providence Foundation.

“The Foundation has been an extraordinary advocate, consensus builder and partner to the downtown, its business, its nonprofits and its residents. With the 50th anniversary, we will celebrate the extraordinary successes of the past and excite new generations to get involved in creating and executing a vision for the future of this extraordinary downtown.”

The Legacy in Motion Scavenger Hunt will run all summer long, with prize winners announced at the end of each month — starting on July 31st. Keep playing for another shot at winning in August!
